The optional electric start makes the FM120 flail mower even easier to use, with remote start, throttle & choke controls. On the Honda engine units, this is combined with the Honda oil-alert system ensures that the engies is running with enough oil to prevent overheating and damage, shutting the engine down automatically in the event of lack of oil to prevent engine damage.
All mowers in the FM120 range are fitted as standard with a centrifugal clutch, allowing for safe & efficient operation from the towing machine. The use of a centrifugal clutch allows easy drive engagement, and acts as an overrun clutch & engine protection should an obstruction be encountered, ensuring your machine & engine will last for years of trouble-free service. Heavy-duty 'b' type drive belts last longer and are more efficient than smaller units used on competing machines.
Our innovative drive belt self-tensioning system removes the need for continual belt tensioning, and automatically compensates for belt wear.
Made from heavy-duty profiled 4mm EN43A Plate and 8mm EN43 laser cut plate, the FM120 is built to last. All bearings are fitted outside the flail mower deck for ease of maintenance & replacement & feature integral grease points which can easily be accessed without having to remove covers.
Two high quality & heavy duty 'B' type drive belts transfer drive from the centrifugal clutch to the precision machined & balanced flail rotor where the 80 grass / general use or 40 hammer flails makes short work of mowing tasks.
Finally, the FM120 Flail Mower is shot blasted, zinc coated and powder-finished to keep rust at bay, maintaining your investment and ensuring a good used equipment market value
