It is lightweight and easy to handle with built in lifting handles for ease of maneuverability. The Pent House Coop is not just limited to hens but is also ideally suited to other small animals such as rabbits or small dogs. It has a range of features including; two access hatches for both feeding and removal of eggs, a built-in external rainwater harvesting feature, removable inner tray complete with nesting box and roost and sight glass for easy of inspection of unit.

Rainwater Harvesting
The Pent House coup also has the ability to harvest water from rain coming off the roof. The rain is channelled via a groove in the roof into a tray contained when coup where the animal can drink from.
