 Spirafix Anchors for "Cross Country Fences"
The Pony Club and British Eventing approved anchoring system for
Mobile cross country fences.
Easy to install.
First screw the bracket onto the mobile cross country fence, then use a hammer to drive the anchor into the ground through the bracket hole. You can fix the brackets as required as they do not come pre fitted.
To remove, simply unscrew anchor from the ground, using a spanner. The ground will be undisturbed, with no holes to fill. The brackets can be left fitted for next time.
How many anchors will you need to use depends on the style of jump, we would advise to use at least two anchors with single piece fences with a reasonable base width. Fit them at the side towards the front as they have a low centre of gravity i.e Cottage or Log Wall
With fences that are going to be jumped from each side you will require 2 anchors on each side, four in total.
The standard size anchor is 460mm, however 620mm Long Spirafix Anchors are available for sandy soil ground.
